About cDogs

cDogs began as an extension of my photography addiction, as a way to share my photos. The first ones were ID tags for instrument cases, followed by medic alert jewelry for my daughter who has Type 1 Diabetes. We loved the colourful and personal images, and began collection them on keyrings and necklaces. In the manufacturing process, there is some waste at the edge of the shrink film, and so the rings were born as a way to use up that material. They were an instant hit! Next came earrings, pendants, and brooches, and much testing of coatings to protect the pieces.

It is the nature of the material to take on slightly different shapes as it thickens and hardens, so each is a handmade work, and no two are exactly identical. If you are looking for something special… you have an image you’d like me to use, or a different shape in mind, contact me with your idea and we’ll work together to see what we can do!

If you like the images you see here, have a look at the cShoresal gallery where beautifully made prints, mugs, t-shirts, digital downloads, and other items are available. Contact me if you see anything there you’d like to have in a cDog, ring, or other jewelry form. Follow me wherever photography, music, and life take me, at the cShoresal photoblog.
